CLEAN CLEANSE : DAY 4
It is day 4 of our cleanse! Only 17 more days to go! Since I have had to alter my diet so much after being diagnosed with my Autoimmune Disorder, I live the "CLEAN" way everyday (actually a little bit stricter since I can't have grains of any kind, nuts, and very low amounts of natural sugar, aka. fruits). While it has been over 2 months since I had to dramatically alter my diet, I do remember those first 7 days were the hardest!
But let me tell you now being on the other side, YOU CAN DO IT! The first week is the hardest, but soon you will have more energy and start to feel "cleaner" overall! Just wait until you actually start craving your "CLEAN" food :) Because it will happen!
Just a couple of tips to get you through Week 1:
- If you feel like you are about to cheat, snack on something allowed! Craving something sweet? Reach for the apple or berries instead of the chocolate. I promise you will not regret making that healthy decision. Because once you have come so far, you hate to mess up the progress you have made!
- Don't starve yourself! Snack if you need to. If you are having problems with the liquid components, incorporate healthy solids. The cleanse is what you make it :)
