Happy Monday! How was y'alls weekends? War and I had a busy but relaxing weekend. I know, I know sounds a little strange but we did a lot and relaxed a lot at the same time! Let me explain...
We had a pretty slow morning on Saturday, made a late breakfast at home and cleaned up our apartment. I love cleaning Saturday mornings rather than on Sunday because I love starting off the weekend with a clean apartment! Is anyone else like that? After we cleaned up, we headed off to my favorite fall activity - the pumpkin patch! I'll share more details on that in a blog post later this week! After that, we found a local sandwich spot near the pumpkin patch called Irving Sandwiches, which was SO tasty. It's super close to Golden Gate park, so if you're a local, totally recommend grabbing a sandwich from there then having a picnic in the park! We were supposed to go to a "Oktoberfest" party that night but Warren was feeling under the weather so we decided to do takeout Chinese and a movie (Hocus Pocus!) instead. Which is pretty much my ideal Saturday night anyways haha.
We had another slow morning on Sunday as Warren was trying to sleep off his bad head cold. We then ran some errands, did a photo shoot, then saw the new Blade Runner as War was dyinggg to see. It was pretty good (love me some Ryan Gosling) but don't think I would see it again. It's a very long movie and I have trouble sitting still that long.
But see what I mean? We were pretty busy, but not at the same time. I love those kind of weekends though -- when you don't have a big schedule and aren't just go-go-go. I'm definitely feeling rejuvenated for the week ahead!
But onto this cozy cardi! I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've worn this thing! One of my best purchases this season. I've worn it so many ways -- with leggings and converse, skinny jeans and boots, to how I styled it in this post! I also love the tweed and fringe details -- so chanel-esque at a fraction of the price! This exact cardigan is from Zara and I couldn't find it online but definitely check your local store! I've also linked similar options below.
