ANTHROPOLOGIE DRESS + WEEKEND MOMENTS 01

March 13, 2017 blair sullivan

I'm excited to say that I'm going to launch a new series on my blog titled "Weekend Moments." I love exploring San Francisco and I thought it would be fun to start sharing what W and I do and see on our coveted weekends. Hope y'all enjoy this new series! So to begin...

We experienced the most perfect weather in San Francisco over the weekend! After what seemed like months of non-stop rain, we had 48 hours of glorious sunshine. Y'all I'm talking not a cloud in the sky! With the sunshine came warmer temps -- it almost felt like summer!

W and I had a relaxing yet eventful weekend. Our Saturday started with brunch at one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants, Tacobar. Not going to lie, we had a slight hangover after going out with some friends the night before but it was nothing breakfast tacos couldn't fix! I mean, they're a cure all, no? Afterwards we decided to check out the SF MOMA as we had never been before! We were thrilled to find out that there was also a Matisse/Diebenkorn exhibition happening. We had too much fun exploring the MOMA and decided to become members! It absolutely makes sense to do if you live here in the city. We purchased 1 membership and we both can go for free for a whole year! The MOMA is massive so we barely even touched it even after spending 3 hours there. We're excited to continue to go back and explore and learn more about art!

We slept in a tad more than we had planned on Sunday because of day light savings (whoops!) but it was much needed rest! We looked outside and noticed it was another beautiful day and decided to walk through The Presidio! I've driven through this area multiple times but have never gotten to explore on foot! Y'all -- The Presidio is absolutely stunning and was the perfect hike from our apartment. We ended up walking nearly 4 miles while exploring different trails! I don't know what took me so long to do this but I'm now hooked! Thinking this may have to be our new Sunday routine. We wrapped up our Sunday with a delicious lunch al fresco at Dino's and errands around town.

I'm feeling refreshed for the week ahead! Now just crossing my fingers that this weather is here to stay :)
