So funny story behind this photo shoot! Warren and I had to shoot this look (along with the leopard skirt one that was posted last week) on a Sunday afternoon. We typically like to shoot either Saturday or Sunday morning to get it out of the way for the day. However, the non stop rain we’ve been experiencing in San Francisco has really made it difficult to shoot for the blog! I hadn’t had content in a few weeks so we decided to suck it up and shoot Sunday afternoon around 5pm.
I wanted to just shoot these outfits somewhere close by to our apartment since we were tight on sunlight, however, Warren decided he wanted to shoot in Sausalito. I initially thought that was fine since in truth, is not too far as it’s the first exist across the bridge, but then he kept driving and was like “oh sorry, I meant Tiburon!” Then we were driving aimlessly around Tiburon trying to find shoot locations and I started to low key freak out (ok, not low key, was getting mad at Warren for wanting to drive so far with no specific spot in mind lol) because the sun was going to set any minute.
But alas, it all worked out as usual for Warren and he found two perfect photoshoot locations! He initially wanted to hike up further for this shoot but with the rain, it was SO MUDDY. So we literally shot these right past the entrance to the trail but I think they still turned out really well don’t you think?! So shout out to Warren for finding this gorgeous spot and for editing all of these photos! Didn’t he do such a good job?!
Anyways, t’s no secret that I love loose, flowy, bohemian tops! They emit such an effortless vibe which is what I always go for. I love how tunics are typically longer in the back so you can wear with leggings or even shorts in the warmer months.
There’s so many great long sleeve tunic options out right now which will be the quintessential transitional tops to get you from Winter to Spring! I rounded up some of my current favorite options below.
